Use JustGains inside Muse
Find JustGains in the Muse Connectors library. Build and save workouts, explore your training history, and see your plan in a workout card inside chat.
Your next workout can start with a sentence. "I have 30 minutes and dumbbells. Build me a full-body workout and save it to JustGains." With JustGains in the Muse Connectors library, Muse can turn that request into a saved workout, show the exercises and sets in a card inside your chat, and give you a link to open it when you are ready to train.
The connection also brings your training history into the conversation. Ask what you trained last week, how a particular lift has changed, or how often you have made it to the gym. Muse can check your recorded JustGains workouts and answer with your actual training data.
Connect from the Muse Connectors library
- Open Muse and go to the Connectors library.
- Find JustGains and select Connect.
- Sign in to JustGains and approve access to your workouts, progress, and profile.
- Return to Muse and ask: "Use JustGains to show my recent workouts."
You only need to connect once. Sign in with the same JustGains account you use to track your workouts so Muse can find your history and save new plans in the right place. There is no server URL to paste or developer setup to complete.
From a chat to a workout you can start
Tell Muse how much time you have, what equipment is available, and what you want to train. It can build a workout using exercises from the JustGains library and save it to your connected account. You can also give it an exact plan, including exercises, sets, reps, weights, and rest periods.
- "Use JustGains to build a 25-minute upper-body workout with dumbbells and a bench. Save it to my account."
- "Create a workout with dumbbell bench press for 3 sets of 8 and dumbbell rows for 3 sets of 10. Use pounds and include rest periods."
- "Show my saved workout, then help me adapt it for a gym without a cable machine."
The workout appears as a JustGains card inside Muse. You get exercise thumbnails, a workout overview, and expandable exercises with the set details underneath. Tap Open in JustGains to review the full workout, start your session, and log what you actually do.
Your sets, with the details intact
A workout is more than an exercise list. The Muse card keeps the set types you use in JustGains, with familiar markers and full names so you can tell them apart at a glance.
| Set type | What you see on the card |
|---|---|
| Normal | A numbered set, such as 1, 2, or 3. |
| Warmup | W and the Warmup label. |
| Dropset | D and the Dropset label. |
| Myo Reps | M and the Myo Reps label. |
| Failure | F and the Failure label. |
For example: "Add two warmup sets before my working sets and label the final set as a dropset." When you ask Muse to change a saved workout, name the workout and the changes you want so the rest of your plan stays clear.
Pounds are the default when your preference is unknown. Prefer kilograms? Say "show this workout in kilograms." Muse can request your preferred units for both the card and the written summary. When specifying a weight for a new or edited workout, include lb or kg with the number.
Ask better questions about your training
The most useful questions start with something you have actually logged. Muse can retrieve recent sessions, exercise history, progress summaries, consistency, and your most frequently trained exercises. Workout links let you open the sessions behind the answer.
- "What did I train in JustGains over the last seven days? Link me to those workouts."
- "How many days did I train in the last 30 days, and how does that compare with the previous 30?"
- "Show my recent dumbbell bench press sessions, including the weights and reps I logged."
- "Which exercises have I trained most often this month?"
- "Summarize my week, then help me choose a workout to repeat based on my completed sessions."
Be specific about dates when comparing progress. A recent page of workouts is useful for planning the next session, but it is not necessarily your entire training history. If the history is sparse, log a few sessions in JustGains and give Muse more to work with.
Plan beyond your next session
You can browse existing JustGains programs, inspect their workouts, or ask Muse to create a multi-week program. Give it the number of weeks, your available training days, your equipment, and where you want rest days. It can save the program so you can review the schedule in JustGains.
Keep control of your account
You sign in on JustGains and authorize the connection. Muse receives access through that connection, rather than asking you to paste your password into chat. Once connected, it can use the supported tools to read your training information and make changes you request, such as saving or updating a workout.
You can disconnect JustGains in Muse settings. Disconnecting does not delete the workouts and programs already saved in your JustGains account. For details about your JustGains data, see our privacy policy.
