How strong are you, really?
Enter one set. We estimate your one-rep max, rank it against real JustGains lifters and the published strength standards, then a coach tells you what to train next.

How the ranking works
Real lifters first
Where enough people have logged a lift, you are ranked against them, matched on sex and, where the data allows, on bodyweight and age too.
Standards as the backstop
Rarely logged lifts fall back to published strength standards, corrected for bodyweight and smoothed across age instead of jumping between brackets.
The same maths as the app
Your one-rep max is estimated with the same formula JustGains uses for personal bests, so this page and your logbook never disagree.
Every result says which of the two it used, and how many lifters were behind it. A rank you cannot source is worth nothing.
What the levels mean
Untrained
Where almost everyone starts. Nothing to be embarrassed about.
Novice
A few months of honest training. The fastest gains of your life.
Intermediate
A year or two in. Stronger than most people in any gym.
Advanced
Years of focused work. You stand out, and people notice.
Elite
Competitive territory. Very few lifters ever get here.
More than a one-rep max calculator
Most strength standards sites give you a table and leave. This one is built on lifts people actually logged, and it tells you what to do with the answer.
Ranked against real JustGains lifters wherever the data supports it, not only a published table.
Every exercise in the library is searchable, not just the big three.
Bodyweight and age are corrected properly, so light and older lifters are not quietly punished.
Add several lifts and see which one is holding the rest back.
A coaching read on your numbers: what is strong, what is limiting you, and three things to train.
