Instructions
1. Stand or sit with a straight spine and relaxed shoulders.
2. Start by looking straight ahead, maintaining a neutral neck position.
3. Begin the stretch by slowly turning your head to the right, aiming to bring your chin in line with your shoulder. Keep your shoulders steady and avoid lifting or turning them.
4. Hold the stretch for 15-30 seconds, making sure to breathe normally.
5. Gently bring your head back to the center (neutral position).
6. Repeat the stretch by slowly turning your head to the left, following the same cues as steps 3 and 4.
7. Hold this position again for 15-30 seconds.
8. Return your head to the center.
9. Perform this sequence of movements for the desired number of repetitions or as part of your stretching routine.
Remember to perform this stretch gently and without any jerking movements to avoid straining the neck muscles. If at any point you experience pain or discomfort beyond a mild stretch, stop and consult with a healthcare or fitness professional.
