Neck Stretch with Assisted Hand

Instructions

1. Stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart and your arms by your sides.

2. Gently reach one hand over and place it on the opposite side of your head.

3. Apply gentle pressure with your hand, tilting your head to the side, away from the hand on your hip.

4. Keep your opposite shoulder relaxed and pressed downward, avoiding any shrugging.

5. Hold the stretch for 15-30 seconds, breathing deeply to enhance the stretch.

6. Slowly release the hand from your head and return to a neutral position.

7. Repeat on the other side.

8. Perform the stretch 2-3 times per side, making sure not to overextend or cause pain.

Ensure that the stretch is gentle and that no pain is felt throughout the stretch. If there is any discomfort, ease up on the pressure immediately.
