Mouth Side to Side Exercise Instructions
Starting Position:
1. Stand or sit comfortably with your back straight and shoulders relaxed.
2. Ensure your head is in a neutral position, looking straight ahead.
Movement Instructions:
1. Take a deep breath to relax your facial muscles.
2. Open your mouth slightly, keeping your lips relaxed.
3. Move your jaw to the right side, feeling a stretch in the muscles around your mouth and jaw.
4. Hold this position for 2-3 seconds.
5. Slowly return your jaw to the center.
6. Now, move your jaw to the left side, maintaining a relaxed posture.
7. Hold this position for 2-3 seconds.
8. Return your jaw to the center again.
Repetitions:
Repeat the side-to-side movement for a total of 10 times, alternating sides.
Tips:
- Keep the movements slow and controlled to avoid straining your jaw.
- Ensure that your head and neck remain stable during the exercise.
- Breathe normally throughout the exercise.
