4 Corners Side Step Instructions

Positioning:

1. Start Position: Stand with your feet hip-width apart. Your arms should be relaxed at your sides.
2. Body Alignment: Keep your back straight and engage your core muscles. Look straight ahead.

Movement:

1. Step Right: Take a step to the right with your right foot, bringing your left foot to meet it. This makes one movement to the right.
2. Step Left: Now, step to the left with your left foot, bringing your right foot to meet it.
3. Repeat: Continue alternating between stepping right and left. Aim for a steady pace, ensuring your feet stay hip-width apart during the movement.
4. Arms Movement (optional): To add some upper body engagement, you can raise your arms to about shoulder height as you step to the side, and lower them as you bring your feet back together.

Tips:

- Breathing: Breathe steadily throughout the exercise. Inhale as you step to the side and exhale as you bring your feet together.
- Practice: Start slowly to master the movement before increasing your speed.
- Duration: Aim to perform this exercise for 30 seconds to 1 minute, resting as needed.
