2. Positioning:
- Place your feet shoulder-width apart and stand upright.
- Hold onto the handles for balance if needed, but keep a light grip.

3. Starting the Treadmill:
- Press the start button on the treadmill and gradually increase the speed to a comfortable walking pace (around 2 to 4 mph).
- Allow the treadmill to start moving slowly before stepping onto the belt.

4. Walking:
- Once the treadmill is moving, carefully step onto the belt with one foot, followed by the other.
- Keep your posture upright, with your shoulders relaxed and back straight.
- Look ahead and focus on a point in front of you to maintain balance.

5. Arm Movement:
- As you walk, swing your arms naturally at your sides. This will help with balance and coordination.
- Avoid holding onto the handles for extended periods; use them for support only if necessary.

6. Breathing:
- Maintain a steady breathing pattern. Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.

7. Duration:
- Aim to walk for about 10 to 20 minutes to start, gradually increasing the duration as your fitness improves.

8. Stopping:
- To stop, reduce the speed down to zero by using the control panel.
- Once the treadmill has completely stopped, step off carefully.

9. Cooling Down:
- After your walk, take a minute to walk slowly on the treadmill at a very low speed to cool down before stepping off.

10. Safety Tips:
- Never step off the treadmill while it is still moving.
- Keep your shoelaces tied and wear appropriate footwear to prevent slipping.

By following these steps, you can safely enjoy walking on the treadmill, improving your cardiovascular fitness and overall well-being.
