Instructions
1. Step onto the elliptical machine with feet on the pedals and hands on the handlebars.
2. Set your preferences: If the machine has settings, input your desired program or set the resistance and incline levels to match your fitness goals.
3. Start pedaling by pushing your feet in a smooth, elliptical motion. The movement should feel like a combination of cycling and walking.
4. Engage your core to maintain an upright posture, and avoid leaning too heavily on the handlebars; let your lower body do the majority of the work.
5. Increase resistance as you get comfortable to intensify the workout.
6. Maintain a consistent pace and rhythm for the desired amount of time.
7. Decrease speed or resistance to cool down before stepping off the machine.
8. Disembark the machine carefully, step down one foot at a time, and finish with stretching exercises to help your muscles recover.
Maintain proper form throughout the exercise to prevent injury and ensure you are effectively working the targeted muscle groups. Regular use of an elliptical machine can improve cardiovascular health and endurance.
