Exercise Name: Walking on Spot with Shoulder Tap Raise
Equipment: No equipment needed.
Instructions:
Starting Position:
Stand tall with your feet shoulder-width apart.
Keep your core engaged and your shoulders relaxed.
Start with your arms at your sides.
Walking on the Spot:
Begin marching in place by lifting your knees one at a time.
Swing your arms naturally as you march to maintain balance.
Shoulder Tap:
As your left knee lifts, bring your right hand up to tap your left shoulder.
Lower your right hand back down as you lower your left knee.
Repeat the shoulder tap with your left hand on your right shoulder as your right knee lifts.
Raise Arms:
After performing a few shoulder taps (about 5-10), raise both arms straight above your head while continuing to march in place.
Stretch your arms fully and hold for a moment.
Return to Start:
Gradually lower your arms back to your sides.
Continue marching for a few more seconds before stopping.
Tips:
Keep your movements controlled and deliberate.
Maintain a steady pace that feels comfortable for you.
Focus on your balance and posture throughout the exercise.
Repetitions:
Repeat the sequence for 1-2 minutes, or as long as feels comfortable.
