Lying Side to Side Neck Stretch

Positioning

1. Begin by lying down on a flat, comfortable surface. A yoga mat or soft carpet works well.
2. Lie on your back with your legs extended straight out and arms resting at your sides or gently placed on your abdomen.
3. Ensure your head is aligned with your spine and your neck is relaxed.

Movement

1. Slowly turn your head to the right, bringing your chin down toward your shoulder. Hold this position for 15–30 seconds, feeling a gentle stretch along the left side of your neck.
2. Return your head to the center and take a moment to relax.
3. Next, turn your head to the left, bringing your chin down toward your left shoulder. Hold for another 15–30 seconds, feeling the stretch on the right side of your neck.
4. Return your head to the center once again.
5. Repeat this sequence 2–3 times, ensuring each stretch is gentle and controlled. Focus on breathing deeply and relaxing your body throughout the movements.
