Instructions
Lever One Arm Incline Chest Press
Adjustable seat for incline angle (if not preset)
Positioning:
Start by adjusting the seat height on the lever chest press machine so that the handles are aligned with your chest when seated.
Sit on the machine with your back firmly against the seat pad. Your feet should be flat on the floor or on the footrests, about shoulder-width apart.
Grasp the handle with one hand, keeping your wrist straight and your elbow bent at approximately a 90-degree angle.
Movement Instructions:
Starting Position: Begin with your elbow close to your side, and the handle at chest level.
Pressing: Slowly press the handle away from your chest, extending your arm fully while keeping your elbow slightly bent at the top of the movement.
Squeeze: As you press, squeeze your chest muscles, focusing on the contraction.
Return: Gradually lower the handle back to the starting position, ensuring control and stability throughout the movement without letting weights drop.
Repetitions: Complete the desired number of repetitions (e.g., 8-12), then switch to the other arm to complete the set.
Tips:
Maintain a neutral spine throughout the exercise; avoid overarching or rounding your back.
Keep your movements smooth and controlled to maximize muscle engagement and reduce the risk of injury.
Ensure that the machine is securely used and that weights are appropriate for your strength level.
