Instructions

Starting Position:
1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
2. Raise both hands above your head, bringing your palms together in a prayer position. Keep your arms fully extended.

Movement Instructions:
1. Engage your core and slightly bend your knees.
2. As you exhale, bring your hands down diagonally towards your right side while twisting your torso. Think of it as chopping wood. Allow your right knee to bend slightly, and shift your weight onto your right leg.
3. Swing your arms back up to the starting position while simultaneously straightening your right leg and returning your weight to the center.
4. Repeat the movement, this time bringing your hands down towards your left side. Bend your left knee as you chop down.
5. Continue alternating sides, performing the chopping motion with your arms, while maintaining a fluid and powerful movement.
6. Aim to keep your movements controlled yet explosive, engaging your core throughout the exercise.

Tips for Beginners:
- Start slowly to master the form before increasing speed.
- Focus on using your torso to generate the twist rather than just your arms.
- Maintain a neutral spine; avoid leaning too far forward or backward.
