Instructions

1. Stand with your feet hip-width apart and arms by your sides.

2. Begin by stepping forward with one foot.

3. As you plant your leading foot, keep your knee slightly bent and hinge at the waist.

4. Reach forward with the opposite hand of the leg you stepped forward with, attempting to touch the toes of your leading foot. If you can't reach your toes, reach as far as you comfortably can.

5. As you reach down, exhale and feel the stretch in your hamstrings and lower back.

6. Stand back up, step forward with the other foot, and repeat the movement on the opposite side.

7. Continue alternating sides as you walk forward, performing the toe touches with each step.

8. Keep your movements controlled and steady, focusing on the stretch rather than speed.

9. Repeat for a set number of repetitions or over a specific distance as part of a dynamic warm-up routine.

Note: Maintain good posture throughout the exercise and avoid rounding your back. This exercise is usually used to increase flexibility and warm up the muscles before engaging in more strenuous activity.
