Turn Knee Drive (Plyometrics) Instructions
Starting Position:
1. Stand tall with your feet shoulder-width apart.
2. Engage your core and keep your back straight.
3. Raise your arms above your head, slightly bent at the elbows.
Movement Steps:
1. Lift your right knee towards your chest while simultaneously bringing your left arm down towards the knee.
2. As your knee lifts, pivot on your left foot, turning your body slightly to the left.
3. Push off your left foot to gain momentum as you switch sides.
4. Repeat the movement by lowering your right leg back to the starting position and lifting your left knee while bringing your right arm down.
5. Continue alternating sides in a fluid motion, maintaining a rhythm.
Tips:
- Focus on using your core for balance and stability while performing the movement.
- Keep your breathing steady; exhale as you lift your knee and inhale as you lower it.
- Ensure that your movements are controlled to prevent injury, especially if you are a beginner.
Repetitions:
- Aim for 10-15 repetitions on each side or set a timer for 30 seconds to 1 minute of continuous movement.
Cool Down:
- After completing the exercise, take a moment to stretch your legs and arms to relax the muscles.
