Instructions

Standing Russian Twist with Knee Thrust
Positioning:
1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
2. Engage your core muscles by slightly bending your knees and keeping your torso upright.
3. Bring your arms in front of you, clasping your hands together at about chest level.

Movement:
1. Twist your torso to the right, keeping your hips facing forward. This engages your oblique muscles.
2. As you twist, lift your right knee towards your chest, driving it up while keeping your torso twisted.
3. Return to the center, lowering your right knee back to the ground.
4. Repeat the twist to the left side, lifting your left knee up towards your chest.
5. Continue alternating sides for a set amount of time or repetitions (e.g., 30 seconds or 10 repetitions per side).

Tips:
- Keep your movements controlled to maintain balance.
- Engage your core throughout the exercise to stabilize your torso.
- You can increase intensity by moving faster or holding a light weight in your hands.
