Instructions
Sitting Deltoid Stretch on a Chair
1. Starting Position:
Sit upright on the chair with your feet flat on the floor, shoulder-width apart.
Keep your back straight and shoulders relaxed.
Arm Placement:
Extend your right arm across your chest, keeping it straight.
Use your left arm to hold the right arm just above the elbow.
Stretching Movement:
Gently pull your right arm toward your chest using your left arm.
Make sure to keep both shoulders down and away from your ears.
Hold the Stretch:
Hold this position for 15-30 seconds, feeling a stretch in your right shoulder and upper arm.
Breathe deeply throughout the stretch.
Release:
Slowly release your right arm and return to the starting position.
Repeat on the Other Side:
Perform the same stretch with your left arm by extending it across your chest and using your right arm to gently pull it.
Frequency:
Repeat the stretch 2-3 times for each arm to help improve flexibility in the shoulders.
