Roll Ball Triceps and Latissimus Dorsi Stretch
Positioning:
Stand next to a wall or a sturdy upright surface.
Position your feet shoulder-width apart for stability.
Raise your arm nearest to the wall above your head, bending your elbow to reach down your back.
Movement:
Grasp your elbow with the opposite hand, gently pulling it down towards your back.
Lean slightly away from the wall, allowing your body to stretch.
Hold the stretch for 15-30 seconds, feeling the stretch along the triceps and latissimus dorsi.
Switch arms and repeat the stretch on the other side.
Maintain a neutral spine and avoid hunching your shoulders.
Tips for Beginners:
Start slowly to avoid strain.
Ensure your movements are gentle and controlled.
Breathe deeply throughout the stretch to enhance relaxation.
Repetitions: Perform 2-3 stretches on each side.
