Setup
Sit on the machine seat and secure your thighs firmly under the pads to ensure stability.
Grip the handles firmly, ensuring a full range of motion from a stretched overhead position.
Movement
Initial Phase: Begin the pull while maintaining a straight, upright posture, focusing on initiating the movement from your back muscles rather than your biceps.
Leaning Phase: As you draw the handles down toward your upper chest, allow your torso to lean back slightly (approximately 15-30°). This adjustment helps shift the focus to engage your mid-back muscles more effectively.
Execution: Retract your shoulder blades and drive your elbows down and back. Maintain total control of the movement throughout the entire range; do not let the weight stack slam.
Return: Slowly return to the starting position under control, allowing your lats to stretch fully before initiating the next repetition.
