Instructions
1. Lie flat on your back on a comfortable surface with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart. Let your arms rest by your sides.
2. Press through the balls of your feet to raise your heels as high as possible off the ground, contracting your calf muscles.
3. Hold the position briefly at the top to maximize the contraction in the calf muscles.
4. Slowly lower your heels back down to the floor to return to the starting position.
5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
To ensure proper form, keep your core engaged throughout the exercise to maintain stability. Also, ensure that you move in a controlled manner, focusing on the movement of the feet and the contraction of the calves rather than using momentum.
