Lower-Back Stretch Version IV

Accurate?

Relieve lower back tension with this simple stretch. Gently ease discomfort and improve flexibility from home.

Instructions

Lie flat on your back on a comfortable surface, keeping your legs straight and your arms extended to the sides to stabilize your body.

Focus on the lower back area where you intend to feel the stretch.

Slowly bend your knees together and bring them towards your chest, using both hands to gently pull them closer for a deep stretch.

Hold this position for 15-30 seconds, breathing deeply and evenly as you do so.

Release the knees and gently lower your legs back to the starting position.

Repeat the stretch 2-3 times if needed, making sure not to rush and to keep movements smooth and controlled.

If you feel any pain during the stretch, stop immediately and consult with a professional. Always warm up before stretching to reduce the risk of injury.
