Instructions

Kettlebell Wood Chop

1. Starting Position:
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
- Hold the kettlebell with both hands in front of you, arms extended, and the kettlebell at waist level.

2. Engaging Your Core:
- Tighten your abdominal muscles to stabilize your body.
- Keep your back straight and shoulders relaxed.

3. Chopping Motion:
- Rotate your torso to the right, bringing the kettlebell diagonally upwards to your right shoulder.
- As you do this, pivot your left foot slightly and allow your hips to turn naturally with the movement.

4. Downward Movement:
- In a controlled manner, lower the kettlebell back down to the starting position, rotating your torso to face forward again.

5. Repeat:
- Perform 10-15 repetitions on the right side before switching to the left side.
- Ensure you maintain good form throughout the exercise.

6. Breathing:
- Exhale while chopping upwards and inhale while lowering the kettlebell.

7. Cool Down:
- After completing your sets, take a moment to stretch and cool down your muscles.

Tips for Beginners:
- Start with a lighter kettlebell to master the movement before increasing the weight.
- Focus on form and control rather than speed to prevent injury.
- If you experience any discomfort, stop the exercise and reassess your form.
