Instructions
Incline Mountain Climber on Step Box
Starting Position:
1. Place the step box on a flat surface where you have enough room to move around.
2. Stand facing the step box, placing your hands on the edges of the box, about shoulder-width apart.
3. Step back with your feet so that your body is in a straight line from head to heels, with your feet hovering above the ground.
Movement Instructions:
1. Engage your core to stabilize your body.
2. Begin the movement by bringing one knee towards your chest while keeping the other leg extended behind you. Your hips should stay low and your back should remain straight.
3. Quickly switch legs, pushing the knee of the leg that was extended back while bringing the opposite knee towards your chest.
4. Continue alternating legs in a controlled yet fast manner, mimicking a running motion.
5. Keep your hands planted firmly on the step box and your body stable throughout the exercise.
Tips:
- Keep your core tight to maintain balance.
- Avoid raising your hips too high; your body should form a straight line.
- Focus on controlled breathing as you perform the exercise.
Repetitions:
- Aim for 30 seconds to 1 minute, or a set number of repetitions, depending on your fitness level.
