Instructions

1. Begin by sitting on the floor with your knees bent and feet off the ground, maintaining balance on your sitting bones.

2. Hold a dumbbell with both hands in front of your chest. Keep your spine straight and lean slightly backward without rounding your back.

3. Engage your core and twist your torso to the right, bringing the dumbbell to the right side of your body. Your legs should remain in a fixed position, hovering above the ground.

4. Return to the center and then twist to the left side, bringing the dumbbell to the left side of your body.

5. Continue alternating sides for the desired number of repetitions.

6. Keep the movements controlled and avoid using the momentum of the dumbbell; your abdominal muscles should be doing the work.

7. Ensure your breathing remains controlled throughout the exercise; exhale as you twist and inhale when returning to center.

8. After completing a set, carefully lower your feet to the ground and rest before starting a new set.

Remember to keep your movements smooth and controlled throughout the exercise for maximum benefit and to reduce the risk of injury.

Adjust the weight of the dumbbell according to your fitness level so that you can maintain proper form throughout the exercise.
