Instructions

Setup

  • Stand tall with feet hip-width apart on a flat, stable surface.

  • Reach both arms fully extended straight up toward the ceiling. Keep your shoulders down and away from your ears.

Movement

  • Engage your core muscles to maintain balance.

  • Lift one knee as high as you comfortably can, ideally toward hip or waist height, while keeping your torso upright and arms steady overhead.

  • Lower that foot back to the ground with control.

  • Immediately lift the opposite knee in the same marching fashion.

  • Continue to alternate legs while maintaining full, stable upward arm extension throughout the entire duration.

Form Tips

  • Keep your spine neutral and avoid leaning excessively backward or forward.

  • Controlled movement is more important than speed for core activation.

  • If you struggle with balance, focus your eyes on a stationary point in front of you.
