Instructions
Begin in your boxing stance with your feet shoulder-width apart, your dominant foot back, and your fists up protecting your face.
Execute the right hook: Pivot on your back foot, rotating your right hip and shoulder forward. As you pivot, swing your right fist in a horizontal arc towards an imaginary target at head height. Keep your elbow bent at a 90-degree angle. Ensure your left hand remains guarding your face.
Reset to your boxing stance quickly after the right hook.
Execute the left hook: Pivot on your front foot while rotating your left hip and shoulder forward. Swing your left fist in a similar horizontal arc towards the target. Maintain a 90-degree angle in your elbow. Keep your right hand up protecting your face.
Reset back to your boxing stance and prepare for the next repetition.
Perform the exercise as a combination, moving fluidly from the right hook to the left hook.
Practice the hooks slowly at first to learn proper form, then gradually increase speed and power as you become more comfortable.
Safety Tips: Keep your hands up at all times to protect your face. Stay on the balls of your feet to maintain balance and agility. Don't overextend your arms to avoid joint strain. Keep your hooks tight and controlled to maximize power and efficiency.
