Wrist Shake Out
Instructions
Setup
Begin in a comfortable kneeling position on a mat, ensuring your spine is neutral and your core is lightly engaged.
Sit back on your heels if comfortable, or keep hips slightly lifted.
Movement
Hold your arms naturally to your sides or slightly in front of you with elbows relaxed.
Begin to shake your hands and wrists vigorously, allowing the motion to originate from the wrist joints.
Maintain a rhythmic, continuous shaking motion, keeping the fingers loose and relaxed as if shaking off water.
Focus on maintaining a fluid range of motion, allowing the wrist muscles to soften and release tension throughout the duration of the movement.
