Instructions

Setup

  • Begin by securely gripping a pull-up bar with both hands, positioned slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.

  • Initiate an overhand pull-up or kip to swing your legs up over your head as you invert your entire body, locking your legs behind or over the bar if possible to secure your position while hanging upside down.

Movement

  • Extend your legs fully towards the floor while keeping your back rounded.

  • Engage your core to raise your legs back up until they are in line with your torso, essentially performing a hanging leg raise in an inverted orientation.

  • Slowly lower your legs back down under control to complete the repetition.

  • Ensure your grips on the bar remain firm throughout the entire duration of the movement to prevent slipping.
