Instructions
Setup
Sit on a mat or the floor in a comfortable cross-legged position with your spine tall.
Keep your shoulders relaxed and down.
Execution
Reach one hand behind your back to help anchor your shoulder down.
Use the opposite hand to gently grasp the side of your head.
Carefully tilt your ear toward the shoulder that is not being anchored down.
Apply very light, gentle pressure with your hand to increase the stretch along the side of your neck and upper trapezius.
Hold for the desired amount of time, breathing deeply, then slowly return to center and switch sides.
