Instructions

1. Stand up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart and arms fully extended overhead.

2. Engage your core to maintain balance throughout the movement.

3. Begin the stretch by lifting one leg straight up in front of you while simultaneously lowering the opposite arm, trying to touch your toes to your hand without bending your knee. Your raised leg should form an approximate 90-degree angle with your body, depending on your flexibility.

4. Lower your leg and arm back to the starting position and then repeat the movement with the opposite leg and arm.

5. Continue alternating legs with a smooth rhythm. This exercise should resemble the movements of a toy soldier, hence the name of the stretch.

6. Perform the desired number of repetitions or for a set duration, ensuring you are using a controlled motion, not using momentum or swinging.
