Standing Toe-Tap with Arm Overhead Raises
Boost mobility and core strength with this fluid movement. Combine dynamic toe-taps with overhead reaches to stretch your midsection, engage your obliques, and elevate your heart rate.
Instructions
Setup
Stand with your feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart. Keep your core engaged and your back straight.
Movement
From the starting position, reach one hand down toward the opposite foot, hinging at the hips while maintaining a slight bend in your knees.
Briefly tap your toes or shin with your hand.
Return to the upright standing position, in one fluid motion bringing both arms overhead to fully extend your torso.
Alternate sides with each repetition, ensuring you maintain a controlled cadence and focus on the contraction of your obliques during the descent, and the stretch of your midsection during the overhead reach.
