Instructions

Setup

Stand with feet hip-width apart and keep your core engaged. Raise both arms up near your head, elbows bent, or extend one arm diagonally to maintain balance.

Movement

  1. While balancing on one leg, lift the opposite knee toward your chest.

  2. Simultaneously, bring the opposite elbow down toward the lifting knee to crunch your midsection.

  3. Engage your obliques to pull the knee and elbow together in a controlled motion without rounding your back excessively.

  4. Slowly return to the starting standing position.

  5. Complete all repetitions on one side before switching to the other limb.
