Instructions

Setup

  • Stand tall with feet hip-width apart and keep your core braced to maintain a neutral spine.

  • Keep your gaze forward and shoulders relaxed.

Movement

  • Drive one knee upward toward your chest as high as your hip mobility allows while balancing on the opposite leg.

  • Avoid leaning backward to compensate for lack of hip mobility; keep the torso upright.

  • Lower the foot back to the starting position with control.

  • Immediately alternate to the opposite leg.

Tips

  • Focus on maintaining balance and stability on the supporting leg throughout the movement.

  • Keep the movement controlled rather than using momentum to swing your leg.
