Instructions
1. Begin by standing with your feet hip-width apart and your hands positioned in front of your chest or on your hips for balance.
2. Rise up onto your tiptoes, activating your calf muscles to elevate your heels off the ground.
3. Maintain the tiptoe position, take a step to the side with one foot, followed by your other foot, moving laterally while remaining on your tiptoes.
4. Continue to take steps laterally for a set distance or number of steps, ensuring you maintain the tiptoe position throughout the movement.
5. Keep your core engaged and back straight to ensure good posture. Your calf muscles should be continuously engaged.
6. Once you reach the set distance or number of steps in one direction, change direction and repeat the side walk on tip toes to return to the starting point.
7. Perform multiple sets in both directions to improve calf strength and stability.
8. For an added challenge, you can incorporate this exercise into an agility circuit or perform it for longer durations to increase the intensity.
