Instructions

Side Step Arm Circle

Starting Position:
1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
2. Keep your arms extended out to the sides at shoulder height, parallel to the ground.
3. Engage your core muscles to maintain balance.
4. Ensure your back is straight and your shoulders are relaxed.

Movement Instructions:
1. Side Step: Take a step to the right with your right foot, ensuring your left foot follows to maintain your position. Your feet should return to shoulder-width apart.
2. Arm Movement: While stepping to the right, begin to make small circles with your arms. Start with your hands moving upward and outward, then down and inward, creating a full circular motion.
3. Direction Change: After 5-8 repetitions to the right, step to the left and repeat the arm circles in the same way.
4. Breathing: Breathe out as you step and circle outward, and breathe in as you return to the center.
5. Continue: Alternate sides for a total of 2-3 sets, with each set consisting of 5-8 steps and circles in each direction.

Tips for Beginners:
- Start with smaller circles if you find it difficult to coordinate the movements.
- Focus on maintaining a steady pace; do not rush the exercise.
- Ensure your arms stay lifted throughout the movement.
- If you experience any discomfort, pause and rest, then resume once you're ready.
