Instructions
Setup
Begin in a kneeling position with your hands planted on the floor directly under your shoulders, creating a tabletop position similar to the start of a Child's Pose.
Execution
From the tabletop position, walk your hands slowly to one side while keeping your hips relatively still in the center.
Extend your arms as far as comfortable to the side to feel a deep stretch along the lats and obliques.
Pause briefly at the point of maximum stretch on that side.
Slowly 'crawl' or walk your hands back through the center and continue walking them until you feel a similar stretch on the opposite side.
Maintain a slow, controlled pace throughout the movement, focusing on the elongation of the muscles along the rib cage.
Key Tips
Keep your hips set back toward your heels throughout the motion.
Breathe deeply into the side of your body being stretched.
