Instructions

Setup

Standing with feet shoulder-width apart, maintain a slight bend in your knees and a neutral spine. Keep your core engaged throughout the movement.

Movement

  1. The Hinge: Push your hips backward as if reaching for a wall behind you, keeping your back straight and chest up. Your hands should come down between your legs.

  2. The Swing: Explosively drive your hips forward to transition into an upright position, "swinging" your arms up to shoulder height, mimicking the path as if holding a weight.

  3. The Shuffle: As you hinge back down, incorporate a quick, light lateral shuffle step. Continue repeating the hip hinge and swing motion in a rhythmic pattern, coordinating the footwork with the arm swing.
