Instructions
Setup
Sit on an upright or slightly inclined exercise bench with your feet planted firmly on the floor for stability.
Hold a pair of dumbbells at shoulder height with your palms facing forward or inward toward each other.
Movement
Start by pressing one dumbbell directly overhead until your arm is fully extended, while holding the other dumbbell stationary at the shoulder.
As you lower the extended dumbbell back to the starting position, simultaneously press the opposite dumbbell upward.
Maintain a steady, rhythmic, 'see-saw' motion, ensuring one dumbbell is moving up as the other moves down.
Tips
Keep your core engaged and your back pressed against the bench throughout the movement to avoid overarching.
Do not lock your elbows at the top of the movement to maintain constant tension on the deltoids.
