Instructions

Setup

  • Sit on a mat with your legs extended in front of you.

  • Lean your torso back slightly, placing your palms on the floor behind you for stability and support. Keep your chest open and shoulders back.

Movement

  • Engagement: Engage your core muscles, keeping them tight throughout the entire movement.

  • Bring Knees In: While exhaling, pull both knees toward your chest while simultaneously drawing your torso slightly closer toward your thighs.

  • Extend: As you inhale, slowly straighten your legs out to the starting position, maintaining tension in the abdominal muscles without letting your heels touch the floor if possible.

  • Control: Keep a steady, controlled tempo. Avoid using excessive momentum; ensure the movement is driven by your abdominal muscles rather than your hip flexors alone.
