Instructions

Setup

  1. Begin seated on the floor or a exercise mat with your knees bent and feet flat on the ground.

  2. Place your hands on the floor behind you, with your fingertips pointing toward your feet.

  3. Lift your hips off the ground until they are in line with your shoulders and knees, forming a flat table-top position.

Execution

  1. Maintain core engagement and steady your balance on one arm.

  2. Slowly lift your opposite hand off the floor, keeping your hips stable to avoid rotation.

  3. Reach across your body and touch the opposite shoulder with your hand, briefly pausing at the contact point.

  4. Return your hand to the starting position on the floor.

  5. Repeat the movement on the opposite side, alternating hands while focusing on keeping your hips lifted and body centered throughout.
