Instructions

Setup

  • Lie flat on your back on a yoga mat.

  • Place your arms flat by your sides, palms facing down, to provide support.

  • Bring your knees toward your chest, positioning your feet off the floor.

Movement

  • Phase 1: Crunch: Engage your core to lift your hips and lower back slightly off the mat, bringing your knees toward your chest.

  • Phase 2: Extension: Slowly extend your legs forward and downward toward the floor, keeping your back pressed firmly against the mat to ensure abdominal engagement.

  • Phase 3: Return: Hold for a brief moment as your legs are straight but slightly off the ground, then bring your knees back in toward your chest to complete the repetition.

Form Tips

  • Keep your core tight throughout the entire movement.

  • Ensure your lower back maintains contact with the floor, especially podczas the extension phase, to prevent strain. If your back arches, do not lower your legs as far.
