Instructions

Setup

  • Lie flat on your back on a yoga mat or comfortable surface.

  • Keep your arms extended by your sides, palms pressed into the floor for stability.

Movement

  • Reverse Crunch Phase: Engage your abdominals to lift your hips off the floor, bringing your knees toward your chest. Ensure the movement is controlled and driven by your core, not by momentum.

  • Lowering Phase: Slowly lower your hips and extend your legs straight toward the floor. Keep your lower back pressed firmly against the mat throughout this movement; if you feel your back arching, do not lower your legs as far.

  • Repeat: Maintain steady breathing and focus on the deep abdominal engagement as you repeat the sequence.
