Instructions
Setup
Attach a resistance band to a high anchor point on a squat rack or stable pillar.
Stand facing the anchor point, holding the band in both hands with your arms extended in front of you at shoulder height.
Step back slightly to create tension in the band, keeping your feet shoulder-width apart and knees slightly bent.
Movement
Maintain a slight bend in your elbows throughout the entire movement; do not actively bend or straighten your arms.
Keep your back straight and core engaged.
Initiate the pull by driving your shoulders down and back, focusing your effort on your lats to bring the band down toward your thighs.
Squeeze your lats firmly at the bottom of the movement for a brief pause.
In a controlled motion, slowly return to the starting position while resisting the band's pull, ensuring your arms finish back at shoulder height.
