Instructions

Setup

Begin in a standard high plank position with your hands placed on the ground, slightly wider than shoulder-width.

Performing the Movement

  1. Shift Forward: Lean your entire body forward so your shoulders move past the line of your hands. Your fingertips should be pointing outwards or slightly backwards depending on your wrist flexibility.

  2. Descend: Keeping your core tight and your glutes squeezed, lower your body toward the floor by bending your elbows. Ensure your elbows track close to your ribs as you lower down.

  3. Ascend: Push through your palms to return to the starting position while maintaining your forward-leaning torso angle.

Key Tips

  • Keep your belly button pulled toward your spine throughout the movement.

  • Do not let your hips sag or hike upward.

  • Maintain a constant forward lean with your shoulders for the entirety of the set.
