Pigeon Pose with Diagonal Leg Extension
Instructions
Setup
Start in a traditional pigeon pose position: with one leg bent forward on the ground and the other leg extended back. Keep your chest low, resting on your forearms to maintain a stable, grounded base.
Movement
From the base position, take the back, extended leg and move it diagonally outward away from your body, maintaining contact with the floor.
Focus on feeling an increased stretch in the glutes and hips of the front leg as you shift the angle of your trailing leg.
Return the back leg to the starting neutral position.
Perform the movement slowly and with control, breathing through the stretch.
