Instructions

Setup

Place a pair of parallettes on the floor shoulder-width apart.

Positioning

  1. Assume a standard push-up position, but place your hands on the parallettes.

  2. Ensure your body forms a straight line from head to heels. Engage your core and glutes to prevent sagging.

Movement

  1. Keep your elbows tucked in toward your torso.

  2. Lower your upper body toward the parallettes by flexing at the elbows, allowing your head to pass just in front of the bars.

  3. Your arms should feel a deep stretch in the triceps as you descend.

  4. Drive through your palms to extend your arms, returning to the starting position without locking your elbows at the top.
