Parallel Plie Pulse
Instructions
Setup
Stand upright next to a sturdy chair, placing one hand on the back of the chair for support.
Position your feet hip-width apart and parallel to each other.
Movement
Lower your hips into a partial squat, keeping your chest upright and core engaged.
Lift your heels slightly off the floor, balancing on the balls of your feet.
From this partial squat, initiate a series of small, rapid, pulse-like movements by extending and flexing your knees slightly.
Maintain constant tension in the quadriceps and glutes throughout the entire set.
Do not return to a full standing position until the desired number of pulses is completed.
Tips for Success
Ensure your weight remains evenly distributed through the balls of your feet.
Keep your torso tall, avoiding leaning excessively onto the chair.
Use the chair only for stabilization, not to support your body weight.
