Instructions

Setup

  • Sit on the floor with your knees bent and feet flat.

  • Hold a medicine ball firmly with both hands in front of your chest.

  • Lean your torso back slightly until you feel your abdominal muscles engage to keep you upright. Ensure a straight back.

Movement

  • Lift your feet slightly off the ground to balance on your tailbone.

  • While keeping your pelvis stable, rotate your torso from right to left.

  • Move the medicine ball with your hands, accompanying the rotation of your shoulders.

  • Continue the controlled rotating movement from side to side for the desired duration or repetition range.

Tips

  • Keep the movement controlled and focus on core activation rather than using momentum.

  • If this is too difficult, keep your heels on the ground.

  • Maintain a steady breathing rhythm throughout the movement.
