Instructions

Setup

  • Lie flat on your back on a stable surface or yoga mat.

  • Extend your legs straight out and keep your arms extended overhead on the floor.

Movement

  • Exhale as you engage your core and sit up slightly.

  • Simultaneously lift one leg and reach the opposite hand toward the raised toes.

  • Controlled and intentionally aim to touch your toes if flexibility allows, keeping the arm and leg straight.

  • Inhale as you slowly return to the starting position with your back flat on the mat.

Form Tips

  • Keep your neck neutral: Do not pull on your head; the movement should be driven by core flexion.

  • Maintain connection: Avoid arching your lower back throughout the movement.

  • Switch sides: Alternate reaches between the left hand/right foot and right hand/left foot for each repetition.
