Long Tricep Extension Lunge
Instructions
Setup
Begin in a wide stance on your yoga mat.
Turn one foot out 90 degrees and keep the other foot slightly angled inward.
Bend the front knee into a lunge position, ensuring the knee is aligned over the ankle.
Extend your arms out to the sides at shoulder height, palms facing forward.
Movement
Keep your legs firmly rooted in the Warrior II position.
Inhale and keep the front arm extended steadily.
Exhale while bending the back elbow, bringing the hand toward the shoulder, then extend the arm back out to the side with force to engage the triceps.
Maintain a tall, upright torso throughout the movement without leaning forward or backward.
Keep your gaze over the front hand for balance.
Focus on keeping the core engaged to stabilize the upper body while the lower body remains static.
