Instructions
Setup
Begin in a half-kneeling position with one knee on the floor and the other foot planted firmly in front of you, forming a 90-degree angle with your front leg.
Ensure your hips are square and your torso is upright.
Execution
Engage your core to maintain stability.
Begin to rotate your torso toward the side of your front leg.
Place your opposite hand on the outside of your front knee for leverage, while placing the other hand on your lower back or hip.
Look toward the direction of your rotation to facilitate a deeper stretch.
Hold the position gently to lengthen the hip flexors and mobilize the thoracic spine.
Ensure the movement comes from your core and thoracic spine, not by shifting your hips.
